Buy or Be Square
It was bound to happen… But I never thought it would happen like this. I thought when I got Vita four years ago, I had it, but that was just anxiety over such a huge responsibility.
Seriously who could not fall in love with that face.I suppose you live and you learn. Sooner or later, I should have known, that I would fall prey to this malady. The nasty being that is buyer’s remorse would rear its ugly head. This time, I was the victim.
Over spring break I felt that my knee had healed enough to the point where I could start rehabbing it again. But I was unhappy with the radio stations and realized how important good motivating music really is for when you are enduring excruciating amounts of pain.
I decided to go MP3 player shopping. There are so many out there on the market. I wanted something compact that had good sound, was not that expensive and offered me more than the average player. After all, technology has advanced so much in the last year forcing the prices to drop, there was bound to be something that caught my eye.
For a few months I was going back and forth over the Apple iPod and the Apple Mini iPod, but I couldn’t justify the cost to myself or to my parents who were willing to purchase it for me.

iPod’s come in various sizes, from 256 MB to a 60 GB version (iPod Photo) which views pictures and can hold around 15,000 songs. However these cute little pieces of eye candy do not come cheap. Prices start at $99 for a scaled down version (iPod Shuffle) that comes without a support accessories (everything comes al a cart i.e. power supply, batteries, etc...) and goes all the way up to $449 for the iPod Photo (this unit is popular with doctors, being that they can carry around voice recordings and digital images i.e. x-rays, MRI, sonograms, etc…).
So after doing some digging around stores one blisteringly bright Florida March day I got cranky and vowed to just pick whatever struck me.
I snapped out of that funk quickly when I saw something that caught my eye…

The Muvo Micro N200
This cute and oh-so-small unit from Creative Labs comes in a nice assortment of colors as shown above. It caught my eye for the following reasons:
All that bang for your buck for about $119 retail.
The Muvo N200 Micro comes in 256 MB ($89), 512 MB ($119) , 1 GB ($169)
This gadget also comes in a nifty credit card pocket size called the Creative Muvo Slim
These units come with all of the same specs. The nice thing about them is that they are just as thin (credit card side) 256 MB ($99) and 512 MB ($139)
